ABOUT
For over ten years Jonathan Fishpaw has been in the commercial real estate industry. He has played vital roles in the development of over 1,000 apartments in the Bay Area. He is a life long Bay Area native with roots in Silicon Valley and the South Bay.
Prior to starting his consulting business, he was a Vice President at Republic Urban Properties. Republic Urban Properties is a ground up developer that build apartments, retail, office and hotels. While at Republic Jonathan handled all matters related to finance such as debt and equity relationships, underwriting, negotiating term sheet with partners, closing on construction loans or bank loans, creating investment marketing packages, directing property management teams on objectives, directing brokers on transaction needs and appealing property tax valuations. During the five and half years he was there he was the point person for closing $247MM of construction debt, $175MM of permanent long term debt, and $73MM of equity.
Jonathan has also worked in Private Equity as a Product Manager with a Swiss based management firm, Partners Group. There he provided commentary and analysis on several of their products representing over $1BN of investments in close ended commingled funds and separate accounts. The institutional client base was primarily made up of pension funds, endowments and sovereign wealth funds across the globe.
Jonathan graduated from San Francisco State University with a degree in Marketing, and from the University of Connecticut with an MBA focused on real estate where he was the president of the real estate club. He is an active member of the National Association of Office and Industrial Property (NAIOP) of Silicon Valley as well as the Urban Land Institute (ULI).
